What is Six Bricks?

Six Bricks is a structured play-based learning method developed by Care for Education in South Africa. It uses six LEGO® DUPLO® bricks in specific colors to run short, purposeful activities that build the cognitive and social skills children need before formal learning can take hold.

The activities take 3 to 5 minutes and can run at the start of class, between transitions, or whenever the room needs resetting. No preparation, no mess. These activities help children develop:

Attention & focus

Planning, self-regulation, and the ability to follow multi-step instructions.

Social skills

Turn-taking, listening, and working alongside other children without disruption.

Fine motor development

Hand strength and coordination that directly supports writing readiness.

Emotional regulation

Helping children manage frustration and transitions between activities.

By the end of Day 2, you will have covered both Level 1 and Level 2 of the Six Bricks programme. That means you can run activities immediately in your own classroom, not just explain the theory to someone else.

About the Trainer

Meet the visionary behind doyourbit.xyz. With a deep passion for empowering children through emerging technologies for social impact and purposeful innovation, she embarked on the journey of creating doyourbit.xyz 8 years ago.

Saira is a graduate from Harvard Extension School and holds certifications as a LEGO Certified Trainer, Six Bricks Facilitator, Climate Fresker and BBC Micro:bit Champion.

She is dedicated to imparting coding and robotics education to young learners in the UAE and GCC wide, equipping them with the skills they need to thrive in the digital age.

FAQ

You do not need bricks to attend the training. Saira will demonstrate activities live, and you will receive a full activity guide you can use once you have the bricks. A standard set of six DUPLO bricks per student costs around PKR 1,500 to 2,000 locally.

The Six Bricks methodology is designed for children ages 4 to 12, so it is most relevant for KG through Grade 6. Secondary teachers can attend if they work with students who need support with attention or fine motor skills, but the activities are not designed for adolescents.

The training is sold as a two-day programme. The certificate requires completion of both days. If you miss a session, a recording will be available for registered participants, but attendance on both live days is recommended.

Saira delivers in both Urdu and English. Slides and resources are in English, but all explanations and Q&A will be available in Urdu.

Yes. Schools can register multiple teachers at the same rate. Each teacher registers individually using the form below. If you need an invoice for school accounts, email us at hello@covur.app and we will arrange it.

Full refunds are available up to 7 days before the training (June 19, 2026). After that, we can transfer your registration to a future cohort but cannot issue a cash refund.
